Fata knows that Rikki objects to killing Tess, so letting her know the plan details isn’t too bright. Unless Fata is lying for that reason.

This Sunday’s strip: Fata arrives early for her appointment with Tess, and when she is led in, finds Tracy with her! One of the Patterson Playhouse workers had recognized the escaped convict Rikki Mortis as Fata Morgana’s assistant on January 5! Patton assigned two patrolmen to shadow Morgana (who is not in hiding, right?) and is alerted when she arrives at the Tracy-Adonis detective agency. Fata is subsequently arrested for Troughton’s murder, and Rikki is captured and is returned to prison!

The explanation goes over for a couple of days, and the case is wrapped up by this coming Tuesday! Tracy then breaks the fourth wall and says to the readers, “Is that fast enough for you?” LOL!

Well, it doesn’t look like Rikki is preggers anymore. So, where’s Lil’ Abs or Lil’ Abnetta? Probably off playing wil Lil’ Attitude and Walter.

Given the long history of Tracy villains being grotesque in one way or another, you’d think Tracy and Tess Trueheart would have learned by now and wouldn’t let someone like little miss one-eye anywhere near them. Just sayin’…

1-PIKKI RIKKI: DAG! I hope you like fingernails in your soup. Mine self-eject sometimes.

2-FATS: No problem – just cook ‘em until they’re soft. PIKKI: Say – who invented your STINK EYE SLOW ACTING DEATH RAY for you?

3- FATS: Doit Smith. It’s made me a lot of dough but I regret being an Early Adapter. The new and improved ones can be removed when you don’t need it. Less chance of accidentally STINK EYEING somebody. PIKKI: Gulp! That’s possible?!?

She needs immediate results…. Why?

A bit disappointing that Mike didn’t put the recipes in a side panel or tell us what they were cooking.

Tess is just another fast take-out appointment? Will the weapon still be a poison, but a quick-acting one, say an ophidian neurotoxin? Does Bosco require authentication from Morgana (cellphone pictures or video of the moment of death)? Is an immediate kill required to prevent the court case from proceeding at all?

Still a lot of unclear details, but the story itself has picked up a head of steam….

Y’all may have brought this up before, but the last I remember of Rikki Mortis, she told Abner she was pregnant. Yet here she is with a trim waist. Have I missed something?
