    He must’ve been forced to eat liver and onions as a kid. I’ve had overcooked liver, which could vie with shoe leather for being tough. When I had liver cooked properly (and not fried into being like shoe leather), I found it to be very tasty. (Okay, I admit to liking liver and onions).

    Had a roomie many years ago who loved the stuff. I would eat it when my mom made it, but when I left home, not one bite since!
