The border is not a crisis. The crises are the causes that are driving people to the border. This requires a global understanding, a strategic approach, and comprehensive, intelligent policies. There are even some Republicans who understand that, but they are shouted down by the demagogues and the fearsome (to them) right wing media.

Gaslighting ar its best… Biden does not need congress to close the border, just like he didn’t to open it, or forgive loans etc there 184 examples as of now

The Biden kakistocracy laid out the welcome mat on day one. When you offer people free money, phones, transport to wherever they want to go, food, medical care and somewhere to stay, they’re gonna take you up on it, bigly.

Now that we have 7,000,000 to 10,000,000 new immigrants in the last three years, many Democrats are voicing the same displeasure the rest of us have been voicing since the beginning of this insanity.

The Biden kakistocracy now realizes their migrant crisis is an election year concern, so they gin up a bill that simply places daily and weekly quotas, while the border will remain open. Some Republicans are stupid enough to buy into this scheme, but the ones who aren’t are called the obstructionists! Win-win for the leftists!

All Trump needs to do is repeatedly show the pic of the Venezuelan migrant giving America the double bird while being released without bail after brutally assaulting two NYPD officers. That pic symbolizes the Biden immigration disaster perfectly.

trump and his MAGA team need something to offer the voters. The economy and employment are off the table for him. Being friends with dictators has lost its charm, reminds folk he wants to be one. Not much left to fix, even the border is a long shot, but it’s all he has.

Why Republicans in Congress are so afraid of a 77 year old TODDLER whose tiny little brain is rapidly being eaten up by syphilis baffles me. (And I didn’t even mention the matter of objective reality that Trump is a traitor to the United States of America………)

It’s incredible that the Repubs say all the corrupt stuff they are doing out loud and anyone will vote for them. Granted the only ones voting for them are gullible rubes, but they are the ones that will vote every time. They also are impervious to the fact that the Repubs have never done anything to help them, only the wealthiest of Americans and perhaps the wealthiest corporations in the USA, whether American owned or not, And then there’s Putin, who seems to have dirt on the vast majority of the Republican Party.

Liberals and progressives better come to terms with that the Democratic party may not be able to give them everything they want RIGHT NOW, but they better understand the Republican Party will not only not give them what they want, but take away what they have long taken for granted.

Whenever, I hear about abortion groups, Palestinian groups, BLM etc, wanting to protest the DNC convention, it just seems insane. They should be protesting the RNC, but apparently, they don’t have the courage to protest those that they really have a grievance with.

There is no immediate solution to the border problem. There won’t be a complete one. There will certainly never be a perfect one. But there are steps that can be taken to mitigate the situation. Not just one step, but several different approaches. Here’s the one that nobody seems to be talking about: our insane, asinine, expensive, counter-productive, dehumanizing, corrupt War on Drug-Using Americans? Not only does that support the USA’s organized-crime syndicates by giving them an unregulated monopoly, it drives billions and billions of dollars per year into the greedy hands of the Latin American drug lords, criminal cartels, and corrupt governments, whose fights over all that American loot are what’s making life miserable for the average citizens of those countries. It’s our own diseased chickens coming home to roost.

It was even worse in Afghanistan, home to 90% of the world’s opium poppies, where Americans were financing both sides of our longest-running war. (Tho, as of August 2021, we’re only supporting the Taliban.)

Wanna address the root causes of the immigration “problem”? Legalize drugs! Turn their abuse into a medical issue, not a criminal one. Convert dealers from back-alley crooks to successful entrepreneurs, just as welcome in the Jaycees as the brewers and tavern owners were after the repeal of our original god-awful blunder with Prohibition!

Side effect: The FDA can regulate such drugs to make sure they’re not laced with fentanyl. And you know who’d really appreciate legalization? Big Pharma! Billions to be made!

This is a golden opportunity for Democrats to steal the issue of the problems on our southern border from the MAGAts. All they have to do is say, “Look, we worked with Republicans to come up with a plan to address those problems. It would’ve been the first significant effort of the 21st Century to do anything at all about it. But there’s a guy running for the presidency who’d rather have the problem than any sort of solution. Do you really want to vote for somebody who’s all in on the status quo? The very guy who already had 4 years to try to do something about it and did ….. hmmmm, let’s see now ….. precisely nothing!

Biden does not need anyone to close the border. He can start by not granting amnesty and stop suing Texas for doing his job for starters.

Let the party that wrecked what was working put it back together again. Meanwhile it’s the #1 concern for voters, ahead of the economy that Joe sucks on as well, so good luck libs. Biden’s poll numbers keep sinking and you’re joined at the hip. Great entertainment to watch. Glug.

My parents rented a car in Paris and drove a circular route around France for a trip. When they stopped in a small {tiny} village for lunch, when the owner realized they were speaking English {American} he sent a waiter to the local school. His nephew was dispatched by the teacher to translate and learn a little bit more language skills.
