It is true today, IA, creation rather than the creator, we worship the Kardashians, music, TV shows, even if you don’t believe in God, the Bible can give you a good life. None of the other things can.

When virtual reality gets really good, like StarTrek Holodeck or Ready Player One real, we will lose entire segments of the population to addiction to those simulated worlds. Technology always leaps ahead and gives power to humans that we are not ready for. The internet is a current case in point. Far too many people don’t know how to employ critical thinking as a defense against being taken in.

It looks to me like a wonderful way to really screw up your nervous system. Minor point, studies have shown that exposure to screens (TV etc.) in infants and toddlers messes up their sensory perception development in a big way. Remember, folks, your direct connection to the real world is through your senses.

Usually Varvel seems to hold a theological view (God and guns etc, God and USA etc) completely different from anything I could agree with . However, this one is not without merit. And it’s even funny too.
