Well, that’s disturbing.

Nice to know that at least the one in the foreground is concerned for manners. He’s using a fork and knife and napkin.

That’s a new one. Where does he come up with this stuff? Can you imagine an adult Spud? He’ll have a nervous tic by then.

I like the one with the bib.

Wonderful comic strip. Not quite as high in my estimation as my four favourites – Calvin and Hobbes, Andy Capp, Wizard of Id, Red and Rover – but very good. It reminds me of my own childhood and my liking of legends, myths and superstitions.

I like how their wings go in a blur like a hummingbird’s wings! I’m imagining them flying like mosquitoes around people’s heads, not like we imagine regular fairies (who fly like butterflies).

They could have a buffet and couldn’t even scratch the surface…..

Spud is really incredible in imagining all the worst stuff.
