I used to read the directions about poking a few holes in potatoes before baking, but didn’t bother. Then one time I heard kind of a thump. One of the potatoes had exploded and shot spuds all over the inside, where they busily burning. What a mess. However, what was left in the potato skin was the most amazing fluffy baked potato. So there was that.

better sit a spell and work on that spell some more
