In my home state highway districts each has a ‘Six Year Plan’ as to highways and bridges. One highway recently began construction – it had been on the ‘Six Year Plan’ for 20 years.
Must be in Dallas, TX. 7 years ago the city started a 3 year construction projest (typo deliberate) on a “deck park” over I-35. According to guesstimates it is supposed to be finished by Summer 2025
