The artist called this this painting Laughing Girl, but the original model couldn’t make it, and her smirking sister showed up instead.

/// In a world of backbiting and sin,

those who don’t toughen up never win.

While she laughs to distract us,

we are watching her practice

how to deal with a fist to the chin.

Bet a pair of Levi’s you can’t guess what I’m thinking;

No bottles left on the wall.

“Oh, don’t be silly, Papa. You just imagine you heard a boy in here with me!”

((Cough, cough))

Despite her efforts at concealment, I can see the hidden passageway behind her.

“Why do all the girls look like that when I drop trou?”

“ Me? I’ve been practicing all day for my wine tasting party”

I’m so happy with my new dishwasher!

A peculiar problem arose/

When at yoga, she reached for her toes/

She should never have chose/

This particular pose/

Since her Sacro-iliac froze..

“My eyes are up here.”

Does this pose make my kyphosis less noticeable?

Giselle is posed to greet Santa Claus … or anyone else for that matter … who’ll come down here chimney.

She’s the Hunchback of Notre Dame/

She can’t stand up straight (it’s a shame)/

Yet her friendly expression:/

Trumps vertebral compression:/

She still sets the boy’s’ trousers aflame.

In the living room practicing for her kitchen table rebuttal speech.

Just another wannabe mime practicing the invisible table routine; they are so annoying!

Judy was quite affected by the movie Fight Club and has been going around punching herself in the face all day.

Looks a bit like a 1950’s magazine ad for a cleaning product.

Is that Mrs Snow when she was young (really arcane reference)

This is a rather odd painting. Even the composition is strange.
