Okay now I like this. Especisallysincsjoe, admittedly, started those lessons as bad police. A good man…but an officer who profiled Delray badly, thought he didn’t need reform, and who bought into a broken system. He’s going into teaching as a better man and as good as you can be within the season

I remember being on the end of just such a conversation with my boss back in my working days. Actually it was worse than this strip. Never forgave the boss for it either.

She should have someone teach the class who wants to. Not someone forced to do it.

He will be getting a raise in pay, yes? And does this mean he will not longer be cruising a beat?

Hereditary positions of authority are unamerican. Or they used to be. Bring back the Jacobins!

Joe’s not ready to retire yet. He loves cruising around doing nothing, except when he gets shot at every three years or so

My boss did that to me. His confidence changed my self-image for the far better and set the trajectory of my life. I have since then applied this and set dozens of young people up for success.

Joe, you pretty much walked right into that one and volunteered yourself.

Every time I was told this, I said “And this project will get the same attention as every other project. We’ll see how many plates we can keep spinning. Oh you will pass it to someone else, that is unfortunate but cool.”
