Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I truly enjoyed the April & Farley storyline. But it quickly became like it ever happened. Like Luke getting over his murdered aunt and uncle by the very next scene.
Clearly she’s stalling. You have here an incredibly obscure character whom even the most devoted regular readers will struggle to remember. A rare visit happened to coincide with what is arguably the strip’s most memorable storyline, and she got to stand in the limelight without really doing much of anything. Now for some reason this week’s strips have pivoted from processing grief over the loss of an iconic and beloved pet who’s been there from the beginning, to processing grief over a tertiary character concluding what was always intended as a temporary visit. She’s delaying her overdue departure to milk this rare and inexplicable spotlight for all it’s worth.
Created an account specifically to comment, I’m out. After the way Farley’s death was handled, I have zero interest in continuing to follow, “For Better or for Worse.” I realize it’s a comic strip, but the artist’s refusal to confront the real issues in that storyline really disappointed me. Farley died an agonizing death, and nobody examined how the family’s behavior contributed to that tragic end. Calling him a hero and a star doesn’t cut it. If you choose to rerun old story lines, take a deeper dive. Bye.

Packing to go away from home is hard. Packing to go home is easy. Does it belong to you? Pack it.

“What’s grandma doing?” … “I think she’s moved in with us without actually saying anything. I think she’s attracted to crappy puns!”

I do that too, except my thinking cup says BUDWEISER on the side, and that ain’t tea in it.

Gosh, I drink 4 liters of iced tea (unsweetened) a day myself. I am not a big fan of hot tea and can’t stand sweet tea.
