My mother had a dog that size. It was on the porch and a salesman stepped on it and killed it.

I have one of those, my avatar. She’s not an ankle or toe biter. She loves everyone.

I was around 14 when I opened the door, stepped out onto the porch, crunched our pretty little new kitten. I was heart-broken.

Probably shouldn’t be out there with hawks around.

We dogsat a teeny-tiny 4-pounder for a few months. Her name was Annie, but I called her Scuttlebutt. It truly looked like she had been stepped on at some point. Whenever she ran, she tucked her butt in somehow. It made her run oddly, and looked like scuttling to me. Scuttlebutt she was.

“Couldn’t you just eat him up?”, says the coyote.

The little squeakers usually make their presence known. They are like human babies, the smaller they are the louder they are.
