It’s not just the sugar… there are sooo many things messing with the brains of our young now… things that are supposed to “protect” them, but have the opposite effect!

I don’t think it’s that he’s had too much sugar so much as he’s desperate to avoid doing homework and is trying to distract Darryl.

Not necessarily sugar as much as maximum stalling effort for doing the homework.

Strange. I thought Darryl was well educated, knowing that sugar, or sweetener, has no effect. It’s the situation, children/adults and other that is the trigger.

I find it hard to believe that Hammie has never dealt with a story problem before.

A “NED” was the precursor to “NERD” I believe. My dad used it in that way.

You need a different approach Darryl. Use a more common name and substitute fruit with candy bars.
