While you were quoting from Isaiah, Schultz left out the part that says the child will play by either the cobra or the viper’s den and stick his hand in either the cobra or the viper’s nest.
@TOALLPOSTERSHERE, give thanks for having (or had had) a father, I didn’t and I curse that a$$#ole that many said he was, but in reality he wasn’t, I had to start working before I turned ten, and I recently retired, I didn’t learn what a father figure was, now that I am one, I love my two sons and would’ve never do to them what was done to me and my brothers and sisters, be good to your father and to all those that carried the big responsibilities of being one, they deserve it all, to be honest Now I’m not bitter anymore, but I would’ve loved if I would have a real man to call him “Father” Peace too all of you
I buried my Dad 17 years ago today, he died from a heart attack. A WWII vet who died on Flag Day & was buried on Fathers Day. So today is all about me remembering what a GREAT father he was. Happy Father’s Day Dad, I miss you!
If your Father is still alive, even if there’s tension between you, TELL HIM HAPPY FATHERS DAY! You never know when it will be your last chance to do it.
I wish everybody could have a Dad like mine. Was he perfect? No. Did he do his very best and always put us first? Yes!
Miss my Daddy every day – he was the best ! We may not have had a lot growing up, but we never needed anything, we had food, clothes, roof over our head and More Love than you could imagine one Daddy had to give – growing up in the 50’s and 60’s he was a super active Dad, most of my friends saw their dad at meals, mine played with us, took us on picnics, we did things with family friends, grandparents, cousins. He umpired BB and referred BB, I know he enjoyed it, but I also know he did it for extra money, like many Mothers back then, mine didn’t work outside the home. I was blessed to have Daddy for a bit over 53 years, he was 5 weeks shy of his 90th BD when he went to heaven, I talk to him a lot, miss his laugh and smile HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO ALL THE DADS , GRAMPS, UNCLES, STEP-DADS, FURBABY DADS, AND FATHER FIGURES OUT THERE – I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR DAY AND FOR THOSE WHOSE DAD’S HAVE GONE TO HEAVEN, I HOPE YOU HAVE A DAY FILLED WITH WONDERFUL MEMORIES, FOR THOSE WITH NOT SO GREAT MEMORIES, MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU AS MINE WAS BLESSED
Our beagle/bassett/Jack Russell mix had an arrangement with the local rabbits. They allowed her to chase them to the end of her long tether, and she kept feral cats away. I would not believe the ‘arrangement’ if I had not seen it in action. This strip brings back fond memories of John Bunny, Flora Finch and their many children who played for years with our dog Peaches.
Though I never had a dad, the resemblance is uncanny. Many see our pictures and think we’re brothers. Dad became an electrician and I chose electronics. And Dad died a Methodist, and I’m attending a Methodist church. And, though I had no father in my life, I was father to many boys and some girls. Bless the dads, everywhere.
Good lesson Dad. Although I can’t remember seeing a Peanuts showing Snoopy playing cards with a rabbit, I do recall seeing an episode with Snoopy playing cards with Woodstock the yellow canary! Birds and rabbits, they are both innocent creatures. Aside from birds such as hawks, eagles or vultures.

“Say hello to all the rabbits” pairs perfectly well with “and thanks for all the fish”.

Sadly, most pups are given away in 6 months or less, so memories of their parents would be fleeting
