Actually, a red-bellied thesaurus.

It looks furious, cross, heated, mad, raging, provoked, outraged, annoyed, irritated, raving, hacked off, pis-sed off, infuriated, hot, incensed, enraged, exasperated, resentful, nettled, snappy, indignant, and irate.

It packs a heavy punctuation.

So much for that “words will never hurt me!” nonsense…

It could be an early ancestor of the Zilla Family.

If I could put those words to a tune, I’d be rich.

My wife accused me of stealing her thesaurus. I was shocked, stunned, surprised, astonished, horrified, appalled and dumbstruck.

HAH!! my buddy and I always play one-up with thesaurus synonyms

Last August, a friend emailed a version of the old joke about a truckload of thesauri spilling all over the street, and the “varied” reactions of witnesses. I replied:

“I laugh, chuckle, chortle, guffaw, snicker, cackle, titter, snort, cachinnate (now that’s an odd one), ROFLMAO, am in stitches, split my sides….”

His tendency to do such a detailed analysis of the local animal life — instead of just running away — will shortly see him eliminated from the gene pool.
