The Gaza Problem does not come just from Palestinians… unless you see it from the Yahoo’s point of view. The REAL problem, imo, is that the whole area has been at war with each other (themselves) since time immemorial. Nothing anybody can POSSIBLY do to fix that unexamined history of hatred. Except maybe not send them arms. Which we’re not going to get everyone to agree to.
Off on another tangent: I can’t recall the source or confirm veracity, but I once heard that the Japanese have a saying, “The nail that sticks out gets hammered down”.
In order to understand the absurdity of the concept of Israel, people need to be asked and think about the following questions:1) Do Christians and Muslims and Buddhists and Zoroastrians and members of any other religion need their own “homeland” or country? Or only Jews?2) What if all the Palestinians decided that they would become Jews? Would they then be allowed to become citizens of Israel? Would they then be allowed to return to their former homes? Would Israel then stop killing them and taking their land?
One more Media lie. Instead of counting on Israel to make all the concessions, the Media should have been calling on Hamas to release the hostages and surrender. This would have stopped the fighting 6 months ago and it would have guaranteed the safety of the civilians as well as the safety of Israel for the near future.
Instead the Media (and the UN and the various world govts and the students) continue to call for a cease-fire – expecting Israel TO LOSE ALL ITS ADVANTAGES -… while allowing Hamas to get away with the massacre of Oct 7 with NO just punishment and NO resolution of the menace they represent.
This is madness and a completely abominable double standard. That people are actually falling for this shows how little they are capable logic or an understanding anything about the situation
You are being maniupulated by such cartoons and Media bias.
Actually, Bob’s cartoon appears to be a depiction of a variation of the philosophy of, "to the childish, with a hammer, the whole world appears as “nails”…
The “obvious” solution is to “correct” the wielder of the hammer…
Taking the suggestion above and then expanding on it, it seems to me that the nails, few in number, should be Hamas and a very large variety of non-nail fasteners — or even non-fasteners — should be the Palestinians. The few nails, of course, would be mixed in with the other Palestinians and the hammer a 20 pound sledge. Or better, a pile driver.

You forgot to insert the ‘H A M A S’ nails in between the others.

A better cartoon in my opinion would be if they were all screws or bolts and only one nail labeled HAMAS.

Heard another take on that recently, “When your only tool is a gun, everything’s a puppy”.

Netanyahu is safe as long as he keeps killing Palestinians.

Maybe drop the religion/nation labels and call each other neighbor/friend.

It’s not a Gaza problem. It’s a Zionism and colonialism problem that should never have been allowed in the first place.

Ever read the Bible? 4000 years of hate and killing ends when Jesus Christ puts his foot back down on Earth.

When you have tried peace for decades, there comes a time when war is the only option.
