Judging from my niblings and from other people’s children I know, the deodorant habit seems really hard to establish. If they want to use it, even if they’re not stinky yet, better to let them do it, start building the habit.
If you’re going to use a scented product, maple syrup might be rather pleasant. On the other hand, given the price of real maple syrup, Wanda may be wondering how much money went literally to the pits. On the third hand (which you definitely need when dealing with Hamish MacPherson) Darryl should have phrased it, “You don’t need to use deodorant until you have armpit hair.”

It’s a wonder he didn’t get ants and gnats in his pits.

Hammie could always use garlic cloves. That way nobody could smell the BO and he’d be safe from vampires.

Oh Canada
The helper for my
arm pit land.
Non stinky pits
is what we all demand.
With glimmering eyes
we raise the bottle high.
To keep our pits
sweet and stink free for thee.
Maple syrup keep our pits
sweet and stink free.

Sure, maple scent has a sweet scent but never use it as a deodorant. Unless Axes makes something that had it.
