Excessive drug use can, in many circumstances, cause paranoia. The purchase of the gun was probably a physical manifestation of those symptoms. So what is the excuse for the rest of gun-crazy-maga-America? By the way – Addiction is a disease, it changes the brain chemistry so that you can’t fight the impulses. And you would think that the top locations for drug overdoses and deaths would be New York or maybe California. No, it’s West Virginia, a very Red state.

I don’t agree with the message here. Hunter broke a very reasonable law, and it would be wrong for me to turn my back on it no matter what the conservative view is on gun control. Furthermore, the real issue for me is the conservative view on high-powered weapons and ammunition, not handguns.

Pretty sure the republicans will go after all the other Americans who are addicts and have guns. Hard to imagine they are targeting Hunter only because he is the son of a president.

… actually Bennett is not saying that the laws shouldn’t apply to Hunter… Thats what they argue on the Right… This cartoon is just pointing out the hypocrisy and the complete lack of principles of the Right… similar to what they showed when killing the bipartisan border bill.
