a look of glad realization that the pieces of the puzzle are beginning to slowly form into a picture…
Lizz’s investigative skills are finally being put to good use instead of playing an obligatory role of being in the barn and as a passing face in the MCU crowd…
I’m a little confused here … from what I can figure out, Lizz has discovered one TTTT employee was doing online research into FDIC records, & discovered info they could use to blackmail Pierce. Which leads to more confusion … since when can somebody be blackmailed or driven to suicide with info easily available to anybody who Googled their name on line, & waited for the hits to appear. For a government record, it’d probably be the third or fourth match to pop up.
“Well, I thought we might do something a little more proactive than that!”
“Oh Lizz. Tsk tsk. Good things come to those that hang around and wait for coincidence to strike. Did I ever tell you about going to see BO’s hatmobile and having the crooks show for up me? Good times.”
A little bit of circumstantial evidence. Enough circumstantial evidence can get you a conviction. They don’t even have enough now to obtain a search warrant. But it is enough to provide a small pointing finger and a tiny voice whispering, “Hey – look that way!”
Hey, at least Eric shows them actually DOING DETECTIVE WORK! instead of relying on someone knowing someone else who’s a suspect and making the arrest two days later
(muttering to self….) I really need to start working on the next chapter of my story, cant believe that what’s holding it up is that I can’t come up with a name for mayor Armstrong’s nephew lol
TRACY: Now, get Maintenance up here with some solvent. It appears Sam has glued me to my chair AGAIN. Oh, and get me a Very Large stick from the armory.
I want to see stabbings and gun fights! Not two bored cops sitting at their desks discussing the price of shoe leather. Let’s liven things up a little.
1-DT: What am I looking at here? LIZ: Sam’s expense reports. Twenty-five hundred bucks worth of deli sandwiches for the month of May. Oh. And $50 for a new tailor made green suit with expandable evidence pockets.
2-DT: Oh that Sam! What an irascible imp! OK. Approved.
3-LIZ: ARE YOU S&%$@N’ ME??? YOU WON’T EVEN APPROVE A KEVLAR VEST WITH EXTRA JUG ROOM FOR ME AND LEE! JUST LOOK AT THESE BAD BOYS! NO WAY THEY’LL FIT BEHIND A MAN’S VEST!
DT: Yeah…I’m looking. I been looking since you came in here. Don’t they kind of act as extra cushion – stopping a bullet before it reaches your heart? I don’t think you need any kind of a vest at all with those built-in bullet stoppers! Now get out and go ask Sam the name of his tailor for me. I think I could use a new suit after 50 years too…
ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz. This story is duller than a date with a librarian. And can’t we draw Lizz a little more like the original? She was a fashionista back in the day. Now looks like an ad for LL Bean.

Good morning™, everyone!
They are starting to see connections. They just need to catch the suspects in the act or find proof of their conjectures.

Kiddies, can you guess MC’s favourite colour?
Lizz would look not so dreary if her clothes were a different colours, if not brighter colours.

She, who Liz discovered, will be the thread to unravel the whole thing.

LinkedIn would let you search for other employees of a company (e.g. for Tip Top Town Topix), so I assume CeeVee would as well. That might be helpful…

Hmmm. All the previous panels have led Tracy to say….”There is someone we should keep our eye on…..” Hmmm!
