Not jalapeno or one of the hotter peppers that are now well-known? Reminds me of when the local paper (remember those?) had an article in the editorial page that was based on the story of the boy who played Dennis the Menace growing up to star in porn movies. It included the description of a reaction as being equivalent to Mr. Wilson discovering that he had spilled cumin in his dentures holder. Now, I knew that cumin is a spice, but it seemed like an odd choice, and given the context… so I wrote a letter of inquiry and I got a copy of a computer print-out (they were obvious back then, I think it was dot-matrix) explaining to the mass of angry mail they got that it was a spice, not…. well, you know. Don’t pretend you don’t and ask me to explain.
I have noticed when watching TV and movies that when someone offers a taste of what is being made, they then put the licked spoon back into the pot. I bet that would be the next panel here – she would be back to stirring with the same spoon.
I never knew that Papika was spicy. The only time I have ever used it was when I made deviled eggs or potato salad for a gathering, I used it for a nice decoration on food.

I don’t think that’s it. You might try removing the seeds from the jalapeno.

I never thought paprika was that spicy. But then again I add cayenne pepper to my chili on top of the tons of Chili pepper.

I had never considered paprika particularly hot, didn’t even know it was made of red peppers. It’s okay, but it’s no wasabi.

That means “We have to dilute it, and next time remember to use less paprika.”.

Paprika isn’t that spicy. Hungarian recipes call for cups of it.

There’s a saying, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.”A little spice into one’s life is good, for life and love.

Paprika is not hot, at all. I have tasted normal Ketchup and it is hotter.
