Yeah, yeah, funny toon, but I have a challenge for my fellow Clay Jones fans: Could we, for one freakin’ day, ignore the fascist fern? One freakin’ day! No replying to it directly (or even indirectly), no replying to its replies to your own posts. Yes, yes, we all know that its stupidity is laughable, its dishonesty is contemptible, and its obvious (and increasing) mental illness tugs at the heartstrings of all people who can feel empathy. (Which, ironically, leaves out the fern…..) But one freakin’ day of ignoring it totally and completely—is that too much to ask?
Besides his lust for his own daughter, the Diapered Don must have both daddy and mommy issues. The DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) may need an entirely new chapter to describe his mental illness.
The comic, as well as yesterday’s comic, is a non-issue. It would be better to focus on other things. Like how Senate Retrumplicans recently BLOCKED legislation that would establish a code of ethics for Supreme Court justices. So much for the party of law and order, the party pretending to uphold Biblical morally. THAT is something that should concern everyone.

Our right-wing friends don’t do well with irreverent cartoons. I did the Father’s Day/Sugar Daddy cartoon before this one, but I changed the order for when they would be published on GoComics.
Also, our favorite troll should notice that Gary Varvel “stole” a cultural reference today…that thing when a cartoonist uses something from pop culture yet is only theft when I do it, according to the troll.
So what’s the point of yesterday’s and today’s toons for such a benign subject? Just to make fun of Trump or is there are strong political message here? It is funny though, humor then perhaps?
