Haikus are supposed to be about nature, you know.
Naturally…
Everyone’s a critic.
Poetic license.
Bucky, the Numerologist!
The Count from Sesame Street: “I like it!”
What type of poetry was that? … Gesundheit!
Bucky takes a stab at intellectualism…and hits a paw.
Seems like he borrowed Satchel’s haiku, in addition to his notebook: see the comic from 2009/01/07
Throw it away in one two three for
I wish I’d thought of that when we were doing haiku in middle school…
Haiku meets sudoko.
It’s a template for a Haiku.
The genius of Bucky is not appreciated in our time…or ever, really.
Could be seen as “post good”.
’I have three words for you … Liar, liar, pants."
There’s no clear tie to liars in the comic, but Bucky’s unsuccessful attempt at haiku reminds me of Sam’s (Ted Danson) reply to Diane on “Cheers.”
Dave Barry’s haiku below bears repeating:A dog is barking Bark bark bark bark bark bark barkBark bark bark bark bark
It’s more like lowku.
Bucky’s poetry contains all the artistry and visual delight of a numbered corporate parking lot.
I only knew the 17 syllable and the feel requirements, the certain number and order of the stanzas was not known to me.
I prefer his catnip mice haiku.
