I wish I’d had some nerds to be friends with when I was that age. That was years before “Revenge of the Nerds” and “It’s Hip to be Square”

Maybe Wallace can get the jetski he wants.

I love that the seagull’s wing is in there.

How refreshing is to live their childhood by proxy in a way. I don’t recall the Wallace gang ever building a clubhouse per se, which, I guess, it’s a typical thing to do for boys. Once, I convinced a bunch of Italian kids to set up a clubhouse. One of the kids volunteered the best substitute: a large birdcage. He then proceeded to show its usefulness by sitting inside it. True story.
