Go with hoity-toity and add some European flair to it.

I know Fancy Dan was an early Spider-Man villain, but I never heard of fancy-dancy before.

On my (chemical) plant when things were running great they were “cool”. When they were not, they were “rocky”.

“fancy-schmancy” must refer to the very rich, whereas “fancy-dancy” would pertain to the rest of the masses would be my guess
