You’re a plugger if you’ve tried to use a banana as a telephone.

You’re a plugger if you used a calculator. Or worked on a CRT.

It seems more likely that a plugger would try to use a calculator as a TV remote.

I want to know what he was trying to solve.

Yet another not there yet moment …

These days Pluggers just use em smartyphones for everytheengs.

Do people still use remotes? My TV is voice-activated: my voice, not others.

As if there aren’t enough commercials already, advertisers arranged to sneak a Multiply symbol on TV remotes.

I thought you were a Plugger if you had to have your eight year old grandson show you how to use the remote for your new Smart TV.

This Plugger uses the TV remote as a cordless phone.

There’s three remotes by the TV: TV, DVD, sound system. Plus, the Win7 computer. I haven’t watched anything in about three years, don’t miss it.

I want an app on my phone to control the TV…

Or to assume, ever so briefly of course, that the remote is the phone… commenting for a friend >D

I use my smart phone as a remote control, so that calculator function is there when I need it.

Or studied sliderule for a semester in collete.

Sorry Jack. I’ve never done that and I don’t know anyone who has.

And our math teachers used to tell us “you won’t always have a calculator with you!”

Step son took a TV remote to a college physics final. Professor loaned him a calculator.

I remember using a calculator in the early 60’s that had like a hundred keys and if you put the right numbers into it it would run for hours trying to get an answer. It was totally mechanical. No digital readouts and it made noise while it was calculating.
