Jason Manfred, the British comedian, says he and his mates liked to fill a football (OK, soccer ball!) with concrete and leave it near the door of the pub just before closing time.
North Americans are the only ones you regularly call it soccer. Every where else in the world it is called football. The ancient Aztecs played the games with a head.
“Sometimes, ancient Aztecs would decorate the ball court with the skulls of people who had been sacrificed. The ball itself was a symbol of a sacrificed person’s head. Sometimes, the actual head or skull of a sacrificed person was used as a ball in the game.”
He got the idea from the guy who built a huge snowman in his front yard, and when he was not home someone drove onto the property and tried to smash it with their truck.
Little did he know that the builder had created the snowman over a huge tree stump. No sign of the truck but evidence left behind say it did not fare the impact well. Frosty was still standing proud.
True story. Look for it on youtube (“tree stump snowman”).
It reminds me of the guy who got tired of kids knocking his mailbox off at the side of the street. Build a solid 4-inch steel pole with a reinforced concrete mailbox. The kid got his arm broken and fell out of a car when he hit it with a baseball bat.

Snake got her! (And she’ll be fine by the next panel.)

Another reason I hate snakes. If she’d used a shotgun, her foot wouldn’t hurt.

More evidence that BC is not set in pre-historic times, but in a post-apocalyptic future.
