I haven’t heard anyone mention Erma Bombeck in decades—except in puzzle answers. I miss her columns a lot.

My college team won yesterday. Then watched #1 in the nation lose at home. Matthew Mcconahay did not look very happy about it.

Bombeck was a treasure of wonderful quotes. Namely: “Anyone who can neatly fold a fitted sheet needs psychiatric help.” That’s the gist from my memory.

I have not seen a single game so far this year. I’m also not sure if I will watch any at all. Just don’t care about it anymore.

Husband hates sports. When the Superbowl was on during the afternoon before they moved it to night game (talking East Coast time) he enjoyed going to department stores and changing the channel from the game on the TVs on display in between other people coming over to watch the game.
