Curiously Coyotes can run a little better than twice as fast as a roadrunner, so he is eating the roadrunner off screen every time. the roadrunner population is huge.
I had a View-Master set of Coyote and Road Runner scenes. Back then someone had to make physical models to be able to get the 3D effect for View-Master, though later I saw adaptions of flat drawings placed at different layers.

Calvin claims heâs a genius, just like Wile E. Coyote. Very fitting!

Hail the genius! Why do I have a feeling that the abstract desert depiction is incomplete without both the predator and the prey.

Reminiscent of the Golden Oldie about the kid who shows the art teacher a supposedly finished picture â a blank piece of paper.
Teacher: What is it a picture of?
Kid: A cow eating grass.
T: Whereâs the grass?
K: The cow ate it all.
T: So whereâs the cow?
K: You donât think sheâd be dumb enough to hang around if all the grass is gone, do you?
