Keep saying it, over and over; yet it keeps happening, over and over. It seems there is no bottom to blind tribalism. Trump has shown, and continues to punctuate, that he can say and do anything; no matter how absurd, disingenuous, untruthful and venal, and his support never wavers. That self-affected “R” after the name is all that matters. All it would take to rid ourselves of him is for 5% of those normal, moderate, decent Republicans to vote against him, especially in swing states. Not the Republican Party, but him. Yet, as most polling shows, nearly every registered Republican will vote for him, no matter what. After all, Party trump’s intelligence, dignity, fairness, honesty and country. /s (as if it’s necessary…)

Rationalization makes the world go ‘round. If you stay on that merry-go-’round, this is all the logical conclusion of an “ends justify the means” philosophy.

What’s really worrying is that the Magats know what the orange baboon stands for and wants, but they still prefer this over having a dark-skinned woman president. I sure miss the comments on political cartoons. Hopefully they’re able to come back but you know only certain ones will if we end up in Magamerica.

I saw some clips of a YT video where a white liberal guy was debating 20 trump supporters, one at a time. He’d give a prompt, like “trump is racist”, and a supporter would have to refute the claim.

After a couple of debates, it was clear that the trump supporters just lived in their own reality. At one point, the supporter said the liberal’s criticisms of trump weren’t fair because they were based on things he did in the 70s or 5-10 years ago; moreover, he shouldn’t use trump’s past to judge him today.

Their feelings don’t care about facts. Now, if harris could just stop supporting the genocide and terrorism israel is committing…

The comic only mentions some of the ‘highlights’ of tRump’s treasonous acts. It would take several more pages on GoComics to get them all.

If only the DoJ had prosecuted the clear and well-documented crimes that were bragged about in real time on live television in front of millions of people, then we wouldn’t have to “save democracy” every few years. If we could only get about the business of actually saving democracy when we’re given the chance……

It’s actually a very short ride for some categories of Republicans. They were already xenophobic anti-government prosperity gospel believers. Trump just says what they want to hear. Or he did. He’s now making a last second dive to catch less crazies and more middle roaders. If he could stay on-message it might even work.

As a former Cub Scout, I learned that disrespecting the flag was unpatriotic at best. The Nazi with the flag on his shirt is doing precisely that. That applies in real life, not just in comics. Note I was an independent voter prior to trump. I will never viote Republican again. They have betrayed country.
