“Tuna! Can we join?”

There’s something fishy about that explanation.

Secession from what? Cats already rule.

We domesticated dogs. Cats domesticated us.

She almost has as many cats as my sister.

“The revolution has been postponed until one of us has learned to use a can opener.”

My mug says “Try to be the person your cat thinks you are”.

I just buried my last cat. I’m 73 and I’ve had multiple cats all my life. I will feed the stray who visits but I’m not sure I can commit to another pet cat.

Dogs have masters. Cats have staff.

Cats are all little women in fur coats.

When you get to feeling all full of yourself try giving orders to a cat.

“I spent 3 hours yesterday, trying to bury my cat.”

“Why 3 hours??”

“He kept jumping out of the hole.”

I just came back from a visit to Turkey and Greece. Unowned cats and dogs are everywhere and people and shops put out food and water for them. They appear to be clean and well fed, and are very calm and you can approach and pet them. It was pretty interesting. Also, I don’t think they have much of a mouse or rat problem there.

I love cats! Especially with a fine Bordeau!

Feral revolt? Isn’t it just Feline … behavior? Those are indoor cats, not feral.

At our house we thwart secession twice a day – at 6 am and 6 pm.

Five cats and one can of tuna? I hope it’s a large one!

But, that doesn’t mean they will cease their planning. They’ll just fix us with their probing eyes and study us a bit longer.

In order to live a complete life, you need a dog to adore you, and a cat to ignore you.

Tuna is sometimes better than catnip!

Whenever my cat was lying on the sofa looking at me, I always thought she was thinking, “If I had another 200 lbs on me, I could take this guy out”

She has their number.

I’ve known box turtles more active than my sister’s cats, but I like them anyway.

In the HILARIOUS YouTube video “An Engineer’s Guide to Cats,” which I highly recommend, they mention how “tuna… it’s like crack cocaine for kitties.” So true.

They were THAT close to finishing the articles of secession, but it had been ten minutes since their last naps.

If cats had opposable thumbs they’d be ruling the world …

I am 73. We have had multiple cats in my house. We once had 7 cats along with their owners (five relatives). I loved them all (relatives also).

Cats, unlike humans keep their eye on what’s important ! ;-)

Dogs, cats, can opener… same result, they come running. Secession is an illusion.

According to JAG (the series) the British labelled the American War of Independence the ‘War of Colonial Secession’. Either fits, I suppose.

If they could steal the tuna they would. It’s the predator way.

If cats are secessionists, we’re the slaves.

Revolution cancelled due to tuna.

Rehabbing feral cats is not easy. And the rewards are few. But when it works, it’s worth it.

This is all on the theory that cats don’t live long enough to die of mercury-poisoning,

Shouldn’t it be feline revolt, since only cats are involved?
