Kids get bored easily and fast and aren’t allowed outside anymore so they really do feel they have nothing to do. Same old toys, new and old, same old house, same old TV, same old TV shows, etc. They’re house-weary.

After a while the new toys lose their newness.

Be thankful Zoe Mom didn’t find you guys something to do that you wouldn’t like.

Get a kid one toy, he plays with it for months. Get him 10 toys, he’s bored with them all in half an hour.

Moms were once fourth grade girls, right? Hard to believe.

I’m the same way.

Rain or no rain they don’t seem to ever play outside anyway.

Panel one was one thing I learned early in life never, ever say to my mother because her suggestion list was endless and usually began with work activities.

Guess toy’s no longer appeal.My own kids that age never heard nothing to do, we bought right ones.

Maybe, but she is still probably paying on those bajillion gifts……

They will learn……..

if you’re tired of the toys, there’s always the boxes!

Reading, coloring, building (if you got something to build toy), puzzles, did them all. I knew better than tell my mother I was bored……

“O.K, kids, you can help me take down the tree!!!”

Kinda makes you wonder what the point was.

When my son was that age I got him video games, our favorite was Donkey Kong. I would play the game while he’s in school and when he was done with homework he’d get the game out and see my scores and he’d try and beat those. Good times:)

They need an imagination like Andy in Toy Story.

I learned a very long time ago to never say “I don’t have anything to do”.

Ain’t that the truth, with kids today the fun wore off their toys within 24 hours of receiving them.

Is it time for Christmas break to be over yet? Sayeth numerous parents across the country.
