If unicorns invented everything, why does their version of the site have the species in it’s name, while humans have the one just generically called “ancestors”.

Actually we had such massively sophisticated devices, they were called dot matrix printers. Look them up in ancient records from the 1980s and 1990s.

I remember fan fold multi copy paper for line printers. Some places still use it. But mostly, since the press flattened everything, it’s been easier to leave it that way.

3-D printers? Hah! Unicorns have 4-D printers that transcend time and space.

We do go through some ‘scrollet paper’ at our house. Printing’s not always clear though.

Oh, we used to have scroll printers, but the paper came with tiny perforations and people kept tearing them into pages. Mm, nostalgic memories of that dot matrix printing sound.

Oh, we, humans that is, used to have Scroll Printers in the 80s, but we called them Dot Matrix Printers and they had this cool perforated strip on each side of the paper full of tiny holes.

Fun fact: if you make up a website name, even in jest, then you have “bought” it under U.S. copyright law. I learned that from watching “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” when he did a skit on “webcam manatees.”

We did have scroll printers. They were called fax machines. Back in the late 80s and early 90s when they printed on that slippery paper that came in scrolls to stick inside the machine. Also the kind of paper with holes in it for the scroll feed along with the dot matrix style print.

I’ve had a couple of scroll printers. Pin feed dot matrix. Then there were the line printers at work.

I remember when we had ‘scroll’ paper, and dot matrix printers to boot. :D

Ok, with EVERYBODY here remembering dot matrix printers, Phoebe and Marigold need to talk to Phoebe’s dad about scroll printers.

Fanfolded printer paper with the holes cut off works. Bring your own stick.
