Interesting that this is relatively close on the heels of the news item showing California ground squirrels killing and eating voles. Coincidence? I think not.
Itâs fine. Iâm an old time radio fan so Iâm used to using my imagination. Stan Freberg did a bit one time showing how radio was better than television. He used sound effects to depict a 700-foot mountain of whipped cream piled onto Lake Michigan, which has been drained and filled with hot chocolate. The Royal Canadian Air Force then drops a ten-ton maraschino cherry on top of the whipped cream, and 25,000 extras cheer.
⊠the authorities are having difficulties distinguishing the mutant rodents from the Fink who is trapped in the gerbil Christmas pajamas his mother made for him ⊠last the castle staff heard, he was complaining that it is itchy and the zipper is broken.

Just so long as theyâre not teenage mutant gerbils.

Here, the artist doesnât feel like drawing an action scene. In âOverboard,â the character is begging for less art.

It was not so much that rodents were carnivorous but they had fleas that carried the bubonic plague.

Confession is supposed to be good for the soul. Perhaps I should try it if I ever do anything wrong.

Slow news day. No congressional ethics reports, I guess.
