2025 Will be an INCREDIBLE year and I wish everybody the BEST!

I wonder if back in those days, realism was dismissed as pessimism like it has been for pretty much all of my teenage and adult life?

WHAT!?! Luann doesn’t have a pillow case on her top pillow?!! THIS IS INEXCUSABLE! beb01 has already told us about how evil and vile Luann and their writers are about their germ infested pillowcase perversions are! For shame!

If Greg is on vacation, who is signing these rerun comics?

I remember reading his strip in the newspaper the first time around. (and hoping my then-very-young daughter wouldn’t be this silly when she got to be a preteen.)

Yep. I think this retro-style, hand drawn cartoon is warmer and more personal than the sanitized computer assisted version. Just imagine the Luann of this era trying the Dolly Parton look that modern day Luann adopted for Tiffany’s Dollyween party. Hilarity is likely to ensue, as 1212 keeps hoping for.

Happy New Year! I wonder if Luann will make some resolutions this year too or if last year’s fight with Bernice made her realize that it’s better not to make them. Or to choices achievable goals, or not to let Bernice know what they are.

Bernice should make a resolution to stop being so persnickety. Then again, like most of us, she’ll probably break it.

Be more realistic and practical huh? Nice to know nothing has changed with LuAnn over the years.

Luann seems to have difficulty with itemizing a list of resolutions. Resolution number two has at least four separate goals (leaving out the one about making Aaron fall in love with her…madly).

Should Aaron Hill come back to the strip? That would be something. Or not.

Doesn’t matter.

My New Year’s Resolution is to stop hate-reading Luann and making nasty comments.

I wonder how much of Luann’s low self-confidence is a direct result of Bernice’s nonstop ridicule? Luann should really pick someone else to confide in.

Have to agree w/ the young Bern here. #2 is aspirational but not very realistic; however, Luann is not the only one, at her age or any, to be making those kinds of resolutions.
