Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
(syntax supported by the Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, and Brave search engines) in the browser address bar (or search for it using one of those search engines) and choose the first Category: found and once there find the text string Kvinder, and click its link for info and links that point to more info about this roughly jumbo envelope size painting. Other versions points to the strip coloration image.
Again, a larger strip image is shown by (Ctrl- or right-) clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #3439 (January 7, 2025) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment, and using the dropdown menu (even larger, if you trim what’s after .jpg from the URL). I have added a comment there pointing the blog entry with my comment pointing to info about this artist I used to point to here. So far, 5 works by him have been used here, the November 14, 2023, strip being the prior.
Has anybody out there been watching Seaside Hotel, on PBS stations? It’s about a Danish seaside resort. This cartoon image could be a scene of Amanda on the left, going au natural, with her more conservative mother, Therese, on the right. But obviously, this scene didn’t make it past the censors as it’s not in the show.

/// Gry and Runa sunbathe on this spot.
You may think Runa’s shy, but she’s not.
Like most Danes, she is pallid,
yet finds nudism valid.
But her boyfriend thinks tan lines are hot.

/// Bathers on the Beach tell you they know
this whole shore by the name Falsterbo.
It’s an old Swedish town,
yet Danes seek its renown
as the best beaches nearby to go.

The unusual sight of the sun in Denmark drove some women to the brink of madness.
When the fiery orb first arose/
Some bold women removed their clothes:/
Others, more circumspect,/
Found the rays too direct-/
And the ones in the water just froze.
