I’ve had similar experiences with EV’s. You can’t hear them coming so keep your head on a swivel when visiting cities where you get out and walk around.

    Drivers are getting worse.

As a cyclist, l’m convinced ‘evil’ exists. I’ve received over £20,000 in settlements over the years but money doesn’t replace confidence. Last year a motorist cut me up and left me for dead.

    What’s the matter with people?

Our favorite is Spanish meatloaf right out of Betty Crocker. Only we replace half of the hamburger with spicy pork sausage.

My wife won’t cook meat. I’m not complaining, because I buy frozen lunches for myself, including Stouffer’s meat loaf.

my wife tends to be a little too cautious sometimes for my taste, but having said that, one time we were sitting at a red light, and when it turned green, she just sat there for about 3 seconds… and then a semi blew through the intersection… I keep reminding myself of that whenever her little old lady driving habits kick in!!

When I am out in traffic, either in a car or on foot, I always treat drivers as potentially crazy people and I’m not that sure about myself.

That happened to me (as the driver) coming home one evening after dark. I just missed collecting a man in a dark overcoat, who was about to cross the street I was turning into, and whom I did not see until the last moment. I could not have stopped before eliminating him.
