I have a theory that the bigger the ball and the higher the score, the more popular the game is as a spectator sport.

So basketball should rank number one with football following that.

Soccer has a big ball, but the scores are low.

Baseball is sort of in the middle.

Hockey doesn’t even use a ball. The puck is kind of small and the scores are on par with soccer.

I don’t know where to classify golf. I’ve heard that few people watch it on TV but those that do buy what’s advertised.
