As a fan for 60+ years, all I can say is they have resembled that for too many years. Hopefully they’re pulling out of it.

Chicago’s coming back. You’ll see.

Like a few other teams I could mention, the Bears are more pathetic than funny. Of course, MY team is the Chiefs, and I know we’re spoiled.

As a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, I’ve gotta say that I relish our rivalry with the Chicago Bears. And they got us good the last game of the season. (FWIW — not much given that these were 2 of the original NFL teams — the Packers and the Bears are #1 and #2 in terms of total NFL victories.)

I don’t watch footzball, but recalling George Wendt and others on Saturday Night Live long ago doing a skit about “Da Bears” and then Jim Belushi on “According to Jim” flying his Bears’ obsession flag, gave me many chuckles.

This is bearly funny.

Oooh…ouch. But their last game of the season was a nice little surprise.
