Down here in the south lady bugs most certainly DO bite.

As a motorcyclist I’m sure I’ve eaten a few.

According to the Internet… (Which we all know is never worng.) It is relatively safe to eat a ladybug, in the sense that it is not poisonous. However, they don’t taste good – being very bitter.

You wonder how many the guy ate who was doing the research?

She’s not very bright. Biting and being poisonous are completely unrelated.

Yes, it’s the Asian Lady Beetle that bites!! Looks a lot like the Lady Bug but stinks when you squash it too!

Ladybugs bite, if they can get their mouths around an aphid they can get them on you. Just a tiny little sting unless you get into a spring hatch then it’s exponential tiny stings and not comfortable.

Ladybugs are voracious. They devoured all the gentlemanbugs

Could be worse, could be pillbugs. I read that when you swallow them, the stomach acid doesn’t kill them quickly so they keep trying to crawl back up!
