I know it’s been a long time since I went to High School, but this is absurd.

Okay, since I’ve been very free about laughing at strips I feel are outrageous, I feel like I need to say I like today’s strip. Very real. Not the first loudmouth to get taken down by his own words, and sadly not the last. (And very, very sadly a lot of loudmouths never get humbled the way they should.)

I am very confused by her leg. In panels 1 &2, it looks like she only has one. And I have no idea what is going on with it in panel 3. Did it become detached from her body?

How did that Public Speaking class turn out for you Hot Rod?

“…and get out of this school.” Yeah, I can relate to that – I hated High School, and couldn’t wait to get out. Fortunately, that was SOOOOO last century!

Notice Rod’s date’s (forgot her name & to Gil…errrr…lazy to look it up) hand move from P2 to P3. Congratulations Rod, you just very publicly c*ck blocked yourself with your hubris and arrogant words that are immortalized on film.

The author should be more embarrassed than Rod. A not particularly accomplished high school junior trying to go pro was the dumbest storyline ever.

Substitute “writer” for “basketball player” and that would be Henry uttering those lines.

Best basketball player ever for Milford? I’d go with Andrew Gregory, Bobby Ottewell, Arnie Wilcox or Susan Wilcox. There’s been some college scholarship recipients over the years, usual drama to get them to there, foolish pride or some other stumbling block. Team, team, team, it’s all about the playdowns and this young man certainly has the potential to be one of the all-time greats at MHS. What’s an AMA?
