And Gunther has climbed quite a few rungs in cool status. Easy to do when challenges are merely physical.

I love that Gunther deciphered Leslie as a girl name. I know more female Leslies than male Leslie. There is a female cousin named Leslie in the family, a female friend, and a college acquaintance. Oh wait. I do remember a male Leslie – he was so girlish looking he was hot. Sort of like Justin Bieber. Lynn is another. Lynn is more common as a middle name for the females but I do know a male Lynn and he is a very vain man. We already know this Leslie Knox to be disrespectful towards girls …..but just what kind of a male “Leslie” is he?

Knute is devilishly practical, inquiring as to Gunther’s testamentary disposition. But I think his lime-colored glasses are giving him an incorrect reading of the New Model Gunther….

@Wesley_BYou beat me to it. ANother trivia about Bob Hope. In school sometimes his friends called him Les. That borugt another small comedic problem. In calling attendance Last name being first His name would come out as Hope, Les (hopeless). Thats why he changed his first name to Bob. Now as for Gunther all he has to do is call that jerk by his rightful name in front of everyone and Gregg can take that just about anywhere.

No, no, no. “Cut” Magic moment missed. This is when Greg should have drawn an intimate scene for Rosa & Gunther. Forget all the legal crap about PDAs in the hallway, this is a cartoon and Gunther should have been rewarded with at least a hug.

Oy vey! I’m getting a lesson about not being pushy, aren’t I?

Go Gunth…you ARE the G-man. If you need it I’ll slap THAT jerk around for you.

Wheee…never thought I’d see a bully/jerk named Leslie. Oh well, the show must go on.

Good guys don’t let women be victimized, even if the woman can handle it herself – so GO GUNTHER. I’m with Swiftbow on the bully thing. Gunther shouldn’t wait for Leslie to pick the time and place. He should go face the sleaze down on his own terms.

It’s so hard to tell if actors/actresses use their real names in Hollywood. (A bit easier with internet now, though). For the Leslie-guy name, I thought of Leslie Nielsen right away too. Also, for Gale, made me think of that one actor Gale Harold. He was on Deadwood briefly. Unfortunately, I think he was on that Queer Eye for the Straight Guy too : /. He’s yummy!

When it comes to bullies, it’s best to avoid them or, if that isn’t an option and there’s no teachers around, find a way to disarm the situation with something like humor, and not give them anymore power over you.

Notice that Gunt does’t lok worried at all? And we all know about Francis/Frances, and how about that “Boy named Sue?” Go back in your own family history and find some really strange, by today’s standards, names. I’m Guy, pronounced correctly, “Gee,” with a hard “g” sound (it’s a French-Canadian Family name) Part of the family has been traced back to the late 1400’s, and ther are some really wierd ones back there!

Good artwork, but comic strip & most of the characters (except Tiffany, Crystal, & Knute) need to be put on Zoloft. It lacks humor & is becoming depressing. Forget class plays & beauty contests, these kids belong in group therapy. Even Puddles is so frustrated, he just goes to sleep.

As a survivor of Chicago’s West Side, I’ve been bullied more often than I’d like to recall right now..the days when even the bullies had a code of honor are long gone. We had an unwritten rule; if you lose the fight, shut up and go home. Even if you were the bigger one, the aggressor. And a name like ’ Leslie’ , in our neighborhood, was guaranteed never to be used. Evans can’t write this like some of you want it…back when I was in the middle of it, you ran from a fight, or you lost a fight, but you didn’t take one. Now, you can be suspended for defending yourself. Or others. I’d do everything i could, if were the age of Evans’ characters to avoid a fight in these days. But back when I WAS that age? I tried my best to beat anyone who threatened me into a coma…and I didn’t mind some of my peers thinking I was bit nuts. It kept some of the Leslies of my time away..
