“We need someone to sing the Star-Spangled Banner before the big baseball game; how about a horse from Finland?”

You’d think they would have picked someone who didn’t have a horse voice, but I hope the home team got the whinny.

Finnish “baseball” is very different from the American version. So is their “national anthem”.

The game had a big Finnish, but it was at the start. Confusing.

If you watch hockey games, you’ll frequently hear the Canadian National Anthem. Not gonna comment on the sentiments. But musically, theirs is s-o-o-o much better than that of the U.S. The music for ours was a mid-1800s drinking song. Not sure who came up with the idea of attaching the prose to the music.

after the meal is gone

    how can we carry on
.

What used to be right is. leftovers!

IMO no one can top Whitney Houston in Super Bowl XXV from anyone singing in the Super Bowl.

The tune was a drinking song. Nobody sober can hit those notes.
