A giant spider?

Good morning™, prognosticators!

Yes, we have a pretty good idea of what’s coming. Amazingly, he’s going to try to take his files of trade secrets with him because he conveniently has access to the sewer system from inside his lab! We all know that he’s not likely to make it that far.

Wonder if Clyde is big enough to silk Yeti and hang him from the rafters?

It’d be cool for Dick to find Yeti all trussed up, hanging upside down in webbing, with his juices all sucked out. Slow down, Dick. Clyde is on the job!

Great images again today but I don’t get the spider in the cage ? Were did it come from , and isn’t Daisy still in the sewer ? With something broken , And Sam must have missed on the second shot , I guess ?

Is Yeti going to unleash the giant spider we see in panel 3 on Tracy and Sam?

He’s survived worse, huh> So his business has had it’s ups and downs before, and he knows how to travel light. But let’s see how far he’ll get this time.

That “bug” looks huge or then again it could be camera placement trickery. Didn’t Yeti hold the spider earlier while draining off some venom ?

Going home in a couple of hours and be on again at an Iowa rest stop.

Ha! I just realized that Yeti looks like a Morlock! Maybe that’s why he’s got such amazing access to the sewer system! Mystery solved!

If that is a giant spider, and not just a trick of perspective, I would’ve liked to have seen more of it and less of the meteorite….

If one means looking like an albino with blue hair, then yeah, you can definitely say you have survived worse.

Ummm is it just me or does this seem to have been printed out of order? Sam shoots the gun from his hand yesterday and today he’s locking himself inside another room without ANY mention of the gunshot or loss of weapon?

Yeti’s aesthetic is marvelous! The practical steel door combined with the beauty of greenery and perfumed air. However, one could question the use of giant spiders to add a splash of drama. There are more tasteful ways to add that kind of flair. One need only Google Donald Trump’s Golden Toilet to see how money can be used facilitate exciting design choices!

He has survived far worst….I wonder if he has survived the bite of those spiders he has caged. They are big for their size, must be on steroids.

Isn’t that a giant caged spider?

Given the prominence of the giant spider in the second and third panels, I have to wonder if Yeti is about to meet his demise via his “pet”.

As far as a perspectival illusion making a big spider look like a giant spider…

That explanation works to some degree for today’s panel two.

But in panel three Yeti is between the readers… i.e. “us”… and the spider. From that perspective, compared to the apparently bulksome Yeti, the spider looks like an Irish Wolfhound.

Anyone remember Panda’s and Lt. Teevo’s deaths in the “Davey Mylar/Mr. Crime” story arc ?

Panda fell into a fish tank full of barracudas and Lt. Teevo died after being consumed by a carnivorous plant…

I see Yet I opening the wrong door and meeting one of his spiders…

Turn the giant spider loose Yeti! That oughta slow the coppers down!

That is one monster spider. Probably an alien from Alpha Lyra, they are mammals and are cool, logical beings.

Behind the Steel Door (great advance planning to have that there), Yeti quickly improvises his escape through the sewer system. But what if Clyde, or some other gigantic, poisonous spider, should escape into the sewer, too, and put the bite on the big albino? Would that be poetic justice, or just pure poison?

Meeting Mr. Daisy….
