Good morning™, teamsters !

We’re doing this like we used to before you got all solo hero-ey. Will Tracy and Sam show up to an empty house with a For Sale sign out front and an oscillating rusty metal gate with a squeaky hinge ? (That signifies an abandoned property.)

It’s good to see the coffee steam in both panels! LOL!

You want to know what I’d like to see? A portrait of Tracy and several grotesque villains as rendered by Alex Ross. I’ve liked his work ever since I read Marvels. What an artist!

Recently read a 1970 Dick Tracy novel by William Johnston. In it Tracy is always caught by the bad guys when he goes to meet them alone until the end when he brings Sam with him and defeats the main villain. Saw Johnston’s name on dozens of TV tie-in novels in the ’60’s ans ’70’s from Get Smart, The Addams Family to The Patridge Family.

Looks like Sam and Dick about to run off and elope!

If Archival is starting collect characters from the comics, then J. Straightedge Trustworthy himself might need backup. I don’t suppose Sam is in Vera’s comic?

SAM: To be honest, I just want that stud off the website so my photo has more of a chance. I’ve gone through a million toothpicks since I originally posted and haven’t landed a single fish.

DT: Not what I meant but there are websites where all you need is a photo of your…uh oh. Here comes Doll. Play along… HI DOLL! Must be late in the day, to not go over now. I mean, he didn’t ask for an appointment, right? That would give Archival time to make sure there are no problems.

Underestimate Brock Archival if you want to Tracy, he will make all those criminals you ever dealt with look like rookies.

Hmm…Archival and his museum have already been in the news? Probably the society page.

TOMORROW???This is one of those “seconds count” situations!

My approach would be to have a disguised operative go to the house as a buyer" or “fan” who Archival will WILLINGLY admit to the house;therefore cancelling the need for a search warrant.And our “Little Peanut” would probably volunteer.

Just so I can brag a little…..the new updates on WIKI/FANDOM for The Button(1973);Hope Lezz(1973);Crystal The Seer(1974);and Big Charley(1976) are 90% mine.And I’m proud of it

Sometimes I miss the good ole days when villains were funny looking like Flattop and Pruneface. The current one looks like a college perfesser!

Today is my 69th birthday.Been following strip since1971.Pouch smuggled me a present.He’s certain nobody will notice it’s missing.

Thank you, Alt Take for bringing up the missing sixam. Got a mail from him earlier where he acknowledges your post on his absence from the page. He wanted you to know that he wont be back and wanted any help I could give on getting reinstated. I told him how I handle it. He does not even know what he is blocked for but only that they copy/pasted the Comments policy in a reply back. I am waiting for further correspondence before sending in an appeal for his release.

“Tomorrow.” Boy, there’s a real sense of urgency for you.

Darned right, it’s a good idea! Tracy is entirely too blasé about the suspicionable Mr. Archival! He ought to take a SWAT team with him in addition to Sam! Why is his “Tracy sense” not tingling? —Too much coffee?

Don’t forget to take “Pickle Nose” along. Someone needs to make coffee and go for donuts.
