    Good morning™, everybody!

It’s a lucky thing for the bank that it has affiliates who can cover its cash shortage. So, I guess the Cinnamon Knight is done with this incident and leaving everything to Tracy? Something else could happen, I suppose, but it seems like he has turned it over for now. We’ll have to see how Tracy deals with cybercrime.

I see that Tracy’s shirt is back to its normal white and so is the “brown paper envelope.” Well, it could be a white envelope just as easily. I’m just used to the manilla ones.

Sam- “Hackers, huh? Time to kick down the door to the local video arcade and shakedown those little punks! Or…I could go in undercover. I’m pretty good at Pac-Man if I do say so myself!”

Good morning™, cyber crime turnovers !

Looks like CK is going to leave the detecting to professionals but I have a feeling he will be back as a more hands on participant.

Neil already pointed out that Tracy’s brown shirt was a one and done. Too bad, I liked it.

Just where did Cinnamon Buns pull the envelope from, his fanny pack?

Shouldn’t Tracy arrest Cinnamon toast for having a weapon on him?

I understand that the “Mr. Memory” guy is set up as this story’s villain, but speaking of cybercrime, I wonder if “Matty Squared” is still around.

Despite the advocacy for a paperless society, banks generate a tremendous amount of paperwork. Somewhere an auditor is drinking himself to blindness.

Is tracy going to arrest him for the big sword? does he have a carry permit to be an ARMED vigilante?

I just can’t take seriously a ‘hero’ who looks like he belongs on a cereal box

“… and I’m already at risk.”

I’d ask at risk of what. Rust? Your secret identity being exposed? Falling through the roof because of the extra weight? Take off the armor. Leave it off. All risks solved. Tracy happy, along with many, many readers.

I hope we get a chance to see the Crimson Knight draw his sword in the Defense of Justice.

The wind is kicking up in tracyville, as evidenced by Tracy’s removal of his fedora and the “brush” atop cinnamon knight’s helmet….

Which is ALSO a psychological hint at how hard this story blows at the moment

1-CK: Thanks for your help, Tracy. I’d shake your hand but I can’t see where you are through this visor thing. Say something so I’ll at least know where you are.

    DT: At your right elbow.

2-CK: OK. Oh, here’s those photos of Black Piranha you wanted.

3-DT: Nice! How’d you get her to agree to nude shots.

CK: C’mon Tracy. You know it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission!

    BOTH: HA HA HA!

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

I respect the understated way that the Cinnamon Knight, whose whole deal is that he dresses up like a knight from the late middle ages, explains that cyber crime is “not his specialty,” because you can’t stab it with a sword, I guess.

I guess you could be at risk if you go to work at the bank dressed up like that. I wonder if their inside cameras caught him gathering the information.

Maybe Vitamin Flintheart would have a job at his theater for the guy in shining armor. Perhaps an upcoming production of Knights at the round table.

When THE JACKIE GLEASON SHOW was being broadcast from Miami Beach,Jackie would occasionally have a black comedian named Timmie Rodgers(since deceased).

Rodgers(around 1969-70) had a routine about what the first Black Superhero would be like.

The opening line was “Faster than George Wallace on a bicycle going through Harlem”.

Nobody heard the rest because they were laughing so hard.

Rooftop vigilante Cinnamon Knight (quasi-retired) is helpful, with “inside” data from The Bank Job. Rooftop Detective Tracy is grateful and understanding. From the perspectives of these two, it’s been a “win-win” situation.

But I think we haven’t seen the last of Cinnamon Knight, nor probably of Black Piranha for that matter.

Cyber crime? Whaddya know; Mr. Memory just happens to be a computer geek who’s been playing around with crime gadgets. Gee, you don’t suppose there could be a connection, do you?

As the saying goes, the plot thickens….
