Yes, there’s another convention in Tracy’s town. Those of you who hate conventions might have known that was coming. Who is Conway? I feel like I should know him.
B.O. Plenty is looking great under Charles Ettinger’s pencil/computer (or whatever he uses in his process). B.O. does seem to be a lucky one when it comes to winning things.
It struck me as if I had gone back a few decades with the telephones and the booth. I even looked for a typewriter on Junior’s desk, and maybe a fax nearby.
Let me guess: CropTop’s instructions tell her to look in the car’s trunk. Alternate: CropTop found her treasure and it was too uninteresting to depict.
Yeah. A car. Wait for it! And,no, it’s not going to be a MY MOTHER THE CAR crossover! Then again, some of you have been bad. VERY bad! So, maybe that would be a good idea! Hehhehheheh
(begins to foam at the mouth) YEAH! She could advise Tracy! Solve crimes! Leave those pesky oil stains on the MCU carpet!!!
…that guy with the REALLY big back-pack….tailing B.O., perhaps? A scam a-hatchin’, perhaps? They often target elderly, hyuk-hyuk-gawwwwsh lookin’ types……..this scene seems to show “before” he “won a car” in some shopping mall…….just sayin’………
Let us ignore the third violent jerk change of scenery this week.
1.)BO PLenty was always portrayed as extremely lucky at winning raffles and contests——sometimes that luck was the only thing t hat saved the family from starving to death.
2.)Anything would be an improvement over his famous rickety pickup truck—-although I’m already thinking that new car will be a twisted wreck by st ory’s end.
3.)Where the heck did BO find a pay phone?
They’re rarer than Egyptian mummies. There’s only ONE in Penn Station, Manhattan and you need a bloodhound to find it.
4.)Great BO, and apparently somebody thinks Junior should switch to bow ties(which he never wore before)
cue the dark ambient music with discordant overtones which, although broadly tonal, is inflected with chromatic and polytonal passages representing the archetypal example of a florid, melodramatic style without being interpreted as an overly heavy-handed metaphor within the context of the thematic material a bit on the frenetic and frantic side with interesting rhythmic devices which seem to counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor utilizing a novel imaging technique known as positron emission tomography and the spontaneous nondenominational conceptions by expansively recontextualizing liminal narratives of colonic hydrotherapy
Well, now we know where the hidden treasure ended up. Honestly, a car that ended up in a museum would be a pretty safe place to hide the loot. Nobody touching it to knock the hidden panel loose.

BO somehow managed to figure out that there newfangled tellyphony.
Trivia note, it’s the last payphone in Tracyville. It’s actually supposed to be a museum piece, but it was never disconnected.

there are STILL payphones in Tracyville?!?…
I thought they were all phased out of existence by now everywhere…

Good morning™, Great Looking Oldtimers !
This Charles guy just keeps getting better and “M.C.” is anything but “MAD” today. :-)
Does P.2. signify that there is a comicon coming somewhere soon that we’re supposed to drool over ?

A B.O. Plenty appearance & a fan convention. 2 signs Mike is phoning in another story.

Definitely not NYC. We don’t have a single phone booth anymore.

Anybody want to bet B.O. won the car that was used in Croptop’s bank heist?

And now we have the now obligatory tradition of the side story.

The convention name is a reference to Dick Locher, who drew the strip for decades.

Don’t the residents of Tracyville have ANYTHING else to do on the weekends other than dressing up as a superhero, or in Mike’s case as a furry animal?

Chucky, please give B.O. a trim.

Does B.O.‘s reprehensibly rustic reappearance signal that at long last we’re about to meet Plentia Kopz?

Junior: You won a car? What is it? BO Plenty: It’s a four-wheeled vehicle, but that’s not important right now.

I’m pulling a 09, and mention as he missed it, the fellow in cell 3 is missing a right foot, he is beside the girl with the great legs.

This story is taking more turns than a race car at the 500….but Charles is up to the art task. B.O. looks good as does Junior………

Harley Quinn, screen left, about to commit a crime. Batman, screen right, searching the crowd for her. Uh oh, this might get exciting.

I see B.O. is still old school, using a pay phone to call Junior. Nobody ever got him a flip or a cell phone. My man is behind the power curve.
