I attended my 50th high school reunion. I had moved away when 18 and lost touch with all of my HS classmates. There were a lot of people who had become like Woody. And there were some surprises in people who I thought were like Woody in high school but were actually nice. We didn’t have the 60th reunion because of Covid. At the 50th there were many surprises on the list of classmates no longer with us. I can imagine that list now.

I had a young friend who knew just the pin to prick these buffoons, “Does that make you a good person?”

He reminds me of a narcissist on a first date: “But that’s enough of me. Let’s talk about you. What do you think of me?”
