I do have an SUV, a small Rav4 hybrid without a fridge, do I pass Alex?

Alex would be happier with the SUVs of today. Nobody cares about Hummers any more than they do the Tesla Cybertrucks….shudder….

That reminds me to get a fridge for my SUV. In the summertime I can leave the door open to stay cool.

When this was first published, most SUV’s were gigantic, like a Chevy Suburban or a Ford Expedition.

I saw a Jeep Grand Cherokee on a dealer’s floor that could have housed a family of 4!!

Save your breath, Alex. No one cares.

It was a losing battle from the start.

I can’t buy a sedan at Ford, they only make one compact two door, the Mustang. Everything else is a hatchback (SUV). Other American car makers are following that trend.

I have a cooler on my bicycle…..

I would prefer to drive a small car rather than my 13 year old SUV, but I have concerns about all the people in SUVs, pickup trucks and electric vehicles that weigh as much as a pickup truck who have licences but can’t drive even when they aren’t texting!

Now, now, Alex, don’t be bitter. I’m sure they all really wanted to be taken to ecoschool.

Economics outweighs shame.

Find a way to meet their needs and save money in the process and you might be more successful.

I was surprised to learn that my Subaru Forrester is an SUV. I would have called it a compact station wagon.

Our Subaru Outback is more of a station wagon.

A “small” SUV is still bigger than most people need. Few people do as much “off-roading” as they think they will.

Then they all went home and left their refrigerator doors open.

On the way to the restroom in a grocery store I go to there is a freezer with a sign saying how much energy is wasted by leaving the door open.
