Martha DID serve jail time. Nowadays, she’s plugging kitty litter.

The thing I love most about this strip is that it IS political, and viewers are free to let off steam, even if their posts are unrelated to the daily offering. I confess, I like opening up cans of worms (especially against Trumpty Dumpty), and seeing the many replies—just as long as they’re not personal insults.

Every so often a magat will complain about Democratic legislators getting rich through insider trading. AOC and a couple other dems have introduced legislation to prevent Congressional insider trading.

So far, there have been no reports of any Republican legislators adding their sponsorship.

Today we have ICE raiding business everywhere.

I quit hating Martha when she gave it up and went to jail.

She did the crime, she did the time.

We have to punish them for daring to not suffer! They deserve that suffering for not being good people, like I am!

Funny how the heightened terror threat led the W admin to search cannabis clubs.

While I’m not a huge fan of Martha Stewart, I have to admit that at age 83 she must have an excellent skin care regime…..or a fabulous plastic surgeon.

This arc is eerily familiar, almost as if nearly the same thing was happening today.

This could still happen today. Marijuana is still a Schedule 1 drug under federal law. Four years in prison and $25,000. The process of moving it to Schedule 3 is dead stalled until Trump gets around to appointing a new DEA head. Even at that, Schedule 3 is 2 years and $2,000. The Trump DEA could start handcuffing people in wheelchairs anytime it wants to.

Yeah, I think the outrage over Martha Stewart has waned over the years hasn’t it. Gee I wonder replaced it ??? ;-)

I heard a rumor…PillowMan maybe good for a cabinet position. ??? Maybe down on all fours? That’s a prerequisite for trumpies.

Stewart went to prison for a $10,000 trade while the big time insider traders continued as unfettered huge political donors.

Don’t be hating on Martha Stewart. She did her time and, as far as I know, didn’t pull out all the stops to get away with it. LIKE SOME PEOPLE!

Legal under state law but illegal under federal law means that local and state law officers won’t arrest you, but the feds can. And do.

So much winning. America just joined with most of Europe in outlawing minor age children mutilation.

The Feds did and still do their own thing. Otherwise they would have nothing to do. Overriding state laws is their favorite hobby.
