Michael a protective older brother much?

The odd part here is that Michael shoveled snow to get the use of John’s car to get to the mall in order to spend time with Gordon? Don’t these boys have girlfriends? Plus, why would you work that hard to drive a car to the mall, where Elizabeth and Anthony can clearly get to without using a car?

Someone’s jealous…

Payback is hell, Michael. You should know that by now.

And I wonder if Lynn foresaw this development in their relationship at the beginning or if, as often happens with writers, the characters showed her what would happen as she drew them. (It’s called, “character possession.”)

Actually he is VERY protective of his sister, but NEVER passes up a chance to tease her.

Why is Michael lowering his eyelids in the fourth panel? Does he need glasses?

Just the sight of that pasty, gooey, buck-toothed Anthony makes my skin crawl… ew.

I sincerely hope the real-life model for Michael wasn’t as much of an a.h. as the comic strip version.

Those who tease often do so out of jealousy.

I wonder if Anthony’s comment in the last panel is the original wording? The phrase about “going public” with a romance seems to be of more recent vintage. But to be honest, I’m not interested enough to dig through the archives.

Have any of the commenters actually lived with a brother or sister? Normal siblings tease and such, it’s just a part of growing up. Although there is a commenter on here who has lived a perfect life and has perfect kids.

I love these little sub plots. The reckoning for Michael will probably be a dozy. Karma has the innate ability to always gain the upper hand.
