Did Orc Jason not get the message from the Orc Boss: “They are not for eating!” (in the second movie, referring to Merry and Pippin. Best line in the movie IMO.)
I’m 74. I read the Hobbit and LOTR first in 1967. I was 16. I have re read them several times. The last go was during covid lock down. Wonderful tale and hasn’t gotten old yet.

I’m somewhat amazed that a grown woman would know how many hobbits were in the fellowship.

Never read LOTR and the Hobbit, until Peter Jackson’s movies were announced. I then decided to read the books before I saw the movie.

If that cookie sheet is so hot he has to hold it with oven mitts, the cookies would be too hot to decorate… or eat!

Should have eaten Boromir, and decorated Gandalf as The White.

Mean Bob is just passing on the astonishment of young teenagers that their grandparents know anything about sex, drugs or rock-n-roll.

Curious if Amend plans to write a comic about any new sci fi movies, like Dune

Am I the only one who focused on the guy to Legolas’ left and wondered if that was something hanging from his belt or something else pointing up???

Coincidentally, today’s classic Sunday strip would also be LOTR-themed. >
